Good to know: window tint is a paid service. It isn't covered by insurance the way glass damage is. Call or text (954) 998-8915 with your vehicle's year, make and model for a quote.

WindshieldTransparent material on the topmost portion only. The bottom edge must be at least 29 inches above the undepressed driver's seat, and it can't be red or amber. Arizona's statute measures by this rule, not the AS-1 line.A.R.S. § 28-959.01(A)(11)

Arizona also allows a medical exemption with a physician's written attestation (A.R.S. § 28-959.01(G)). As Arizona law requires us to tell you: installation of tint on the driver or passenger side window may be illegal in some states.

This is a plain-language summary of the statutes linked above, checked October 2026. It isn't legal advice. Laws can change, so confirm the current rules for your vehicle.

Window tint FAQ

Is window tint covered by insurance?

No. Window tint is a paid service. Insurance covers glass damage, not tint upgrades. Ask us for a tint quote for your vehicle.

Do you come to me for window tint?

Yes. Tint is a mobile service in the same Florida and Arizona areas we serve for auto glass. We come to your home or workplace.

How dark can I legally go?

In Florida, front side windows must let in at least 28% of light, and rear windows at least 15% (at least 6% on multipurpose passenger vehicles such as many SUVs, vans and trucks). In Arizona, front side windows are 33% (plus or minus 3%), and rear side and back windows have no darkness limit as long as reflectance stays at 35% or less.

Can you tint my windshield?

Only a strip at the top. Florida allows transparent tint above the AS-1 area. Arizona allows transparent, non-red, non-amber material on the topmost portion, ending at least 29 inches above the driver's seat.

How much does window tint cost?

Pricing depends on your vehicle and which windows you want tinted. Call or text (954) 998-8915 with your year, make and model for a quote.
